Apostle Bernard Mawuli Tachie is a devoted servant-leader with more than 34 years of impactful ministry dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of God through apostolic leadership, evangelism, and discipleship. He carries a strong apostolic and evangelistic mandate focused on restoring foundational biblical truths, equipping believers for effective ministry, planting churches, and fostering sustainable community transformation.
Apostle Tachie serves as the Senior Pastor of Christian Fellowship Ghana, headquartered in Hohoe in the Volta Region of Ghana, where he provides visionary leadership and spiritual oversight. Under his leadership, the ministry emphasizes passionate worship, sound biblical teaching, authentic Christian fellowship, and community-centered outreach. His work extends beyond the church walls, with a deep commitment to planting churches and schools in villages, rural communities, and hard-to-reach areas, while serving marginalized and underserved populations.
He holds a Diploma in Theology from Faith International Bible School (USA) and a Certificate in Discipleship from the Discipleship Training School in Tema, Ghana. His theological training, combined with decades of hands-on ministry experience, has positioned him as a respected spiritual leader, mentor, and teacher across Ghana and beyond.
As an International Board Member of Sankofa Youth Educational Exchange Collaboration (SYEEC), Apostle Tachie provides spiritual guidance, cultural insight, and strategic counsel to support the organization’s mission of empowering youth through education, mentorship, and cross-cultural engagement.
Apostle Tachie has been married to his wife, Esther Ama Tachie, for 34 years, and they are blessed with six children. His life and ministry reflect a steadfast commitment to faith, family, service, and leadership development.

Ismael Kwame Asibon

Director of Ghanaian Programs and Services
Ismael Kwame Asibon is a native of Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa, and serves as Co-Founder and Director of Ghanaian Programs and Services for Sankofa Youth Educational Exchange Collaboration (SYEEC). In this leadership role, Ismael is responsible for developing, coordinating, and overseeing SYEEC’s programmatic partnerships throughout Ghana, ensuring culturally grounded, community-informed implementation of the organization’s mission.
A husband and father, Ismael brings a diverse professional background as a former professional soccer player, songwriter, recording artist, performer, entrepreneur, and historian. His multifaceted experience informs his deep commitment to youth development, cultural education, and creative expression as tools for empowerment and identity preservation.
Ismael is particularly dedicated to educating youth and young adults on the importance of preserving Ghanaian cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage. Through his work with SYEEC, he collaborates closely with community leaders, traditional authorities, and leadership within secondary and post-secondary institutions across Ghana to establish sustainable educational exchanges, mentorship opportunities, and culturally responsive programs.
As Director of Ghanaian Programs and Services, Ismael leads stakeholder engagement, facilitates cross-cultural partnerships, and supports program delivery aligned with SYEEC’s international education and service initiatives. His leadership ensures that SYEEC’s work in Ghana remains authentic, respectful, and rooted in local knowledge and community priorities.

Quan A. Abazie, BS, MS, M.Ed.

Quan A. Abazie is the Founder and Executive Director of Sankofa Youth Educational Exchange Collaboration (SYEEC), a nonprofit organization established in Columbus, Ohio, dedicated to empowering youth through education, cultural exchange, and life-skills development. With more than 13 years of experience as an educator, Quan has served students and communities across Columbus, Ohio, and internationally in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and Ghana West Africa.
A United States Army Decorated Combat Veteran, Quan honorably served during the Gulf War with deployments to Kuwait and Iraq. Her military service profoundly shaped her leadership, resilience, and commitment to service, inspiring her to fulfill a lifelong dream of authorship. In 2021, she self-published her first book, You Have the Victory, a powerful reflection on faith, perseverance, and her overseas military deployment experience.
Quan is a public speaker, author, and advocate whose passion for education extends beyond the classroom. Through SYEEC, she is committed to supporting youth aging out of the foster care system in Columbus, Ohio, while also collaborating with community leaders, secondary/ post-secondary youth, and educators in Ghana, West Africa—particularly in the Central, Western, and Volta Regions.
